On the first day of the Fall 2024 semester at UVU, I participated in a luxury bridal styled shoot hosted by Britt Warnick Designs at the UVU Museum of Art. This hands-on experience allowed me to immerse myself in the wedding design industry, a field I’m deeply passionate about. As a part of editorial group, I was assisting with tasks such as furniture placement, décor styling, and floral installations—while gaining behind-the-scenes insight into high-end event production. Despite the intense heat and some logistical challenges, I appreciated the opportunity to connect with Britt and her team, observe the creative process, and contribute to a professional editorial shoot. The most rewarding part was seeing Britt’s vision come to life and learning how styled shoots serve as a platform for networking, building portfolios, and elevating brand identity. This experience not only inspired me creatively, but also led to a valuable professional connection and interview for another course project.
