As a UVU Foundation Ambassador, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the 2024 UVU President’s Scholarship Ball held at the UCCU Center. This black-tie fundraising event brought together over 800 guests and donors, and I was honored to be one of the students invited to attend as a table guest. After weeks of preparation and training, I spent the day volunteering and experiencing the event’s full program—from greeting donors during the elegant reception to enjoying the inspiring program and 5-course dinner alongside generous supporters. The celestial “Everguiding” theme, thoughtful design, and performances created an unforgettable atmosphere. I was especially moved when we joined President Tuminez on stage to celebrate the record-breaking $1.8 million raised for scholarships. It was truly a meaningful and proud moment in my UVU journey.
